"Patterns in the Sand" is my favorite of the Seaside Knitters Mystery set of books. The plot forms around Willow Adams, a waif found sleeping in Izzy's display window and is both intriguing and believable.

Willow is a fiber artist and that gives the book a new way to look at yarn. Not just your standard knitting, crocheting, spinning and weaving /5(73). I hated this book.

I read Death by Cashmere because I love knitting, I love Cape Ann, and I love mysteries. I didnt love that book, but I got Patterns in the Sand because of the above Patterns in the sand book and because once I start a series, I want to finish it.
